The Military of the Union disregards the Geneva convention and refuses to submit to it believing it to be a restraint when trying to achieve total victory over an enemy.
Rules of combat follow discipline and honor not modesty and restraint, if a nation has the ability and desire to wage war against the Union, to cause harm unto the people, then it is within rights of the Union to prevent this from ever happening.
Victory is the goal of every military campaign, the Union military shall follow no course other then the one that leads unto victory and the total surrender of the enemy, to accomplish this the enemies desire and ability to wage war must be destroyed.
Policy on Nuclear weaponry. The Union believes it is within the rights of all stable nations to pursue a nuclear program for both peaceful and deterrent reasons, to this cause the Union is not a signatory of the non-proliferation act.
Policy on war crimes. The Union does not believe in any form of mass punishment, torture or segregation and will never enforce unfair policies onto a conquered people. However the Union does believe that, when it is merited by the actions of the enemy, warfare will be unrestricted across the whole of the nation.
